My Story
I grew up homeschooled on a small horse farm, which meant I learned early that there are a hundred ways to do things right and most of them do not look like what the textbook says.
When I entered traditional school, I was flagged as dyslexic and told, formally, by a test, that I probably should not graduate. I graduated anyway. Then I earned a Bachelor of Social Work summa cum laude. Then, a Master of Science in Social Work again landed on the dean's list. I am not telling you that to brag. I am telling you because understanding how systems misread people and how environments shape us became the lens through which I see everything, including social media.
In high school, I found confidence not through classrooms but through structure, discipline, and endurance. JROTC. Drill team. Raider. And eventually running.
That discipline carried me further than I expected. Over the next decade, I ran twelve full marathons, twenty-four half marathons, and crossed two Ironman finish lines. I became a personal trainer and STOTT Pilates instructor. I spent years helping people get stronger physically, mentally, and in their relationship with themselves.
What I kept learning through every mile and every client was the same thing: people are shaped by their environments far more than they realize. Change the environment, and the behavior follows.
After years of working across fitness, hospitality, health, and corporate environments, and going through all the changes of COVID. I hit a wall. Deep burnout. Professional disillusionment. A year of stillness I did not choose but desperately needed.
And somewhere in that quiet, I looked at my own social media and realized I had been scrolling through everyone else's highlight reel while my own story sat unwritten.
So I did a thirty-day detox. Then I audited everything who I followed, why I was on the app, and what I had been normalizing. I had no framework for any of it. So I built one.
That framework became the F.E.E.D. Method. And this work became my purpose.
"I do not think women need more shame around social media. I think they need better systems, stronger standards, and a more intentional digital environment."
I created this work because I know what it feels like to look up and realize you have spent years consuming, learning, watching, saving, scrolling while the thing you actually want to build sits waiting.
You do not need another detox. You need a system that changes how you come back.
That is what I teach. And that is why I am here.
